Now taking reservations for 2010 San Juan River trips.
"But the San Juan country proper, between the Abajo Mountains and Monument Valley, and between the Colorado boundary and Glen Canyon of the Colorado, is the heart of the last great wilderness. Through the middle of it, flowing in a continuous canyon to its junction with the Colorado 133 miles westward, runs the San Juan River, as little known and as little celebrated as the country it drains."

About UsWild Rivers Expeditions is a small, quality-oriented company located in Bluff, Utah. We run one to ten day river trips on the San Juan River in southeast Utah, in addition to occasional international expeditions. We were founded in 1957 and in 2007 are celebrating our 50th anniversary; we run far more and far better San Juan River trips than any other outfitter. Our river trips are unique in that they focus on interpreting the rivers geologic, human and natural histories as we travel through the canyon. Bluff is an ideal base camp for exploring the great Four Corners Area of Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico. Nowhere else can you be so close to eight national parks, several national monuments, five indian reservations, spectacular Monument Valley, and vast tracts administered by the USFS and BLM. Please take some time to look around our website; it's designed to be informative about us, our river trips, and the San Juan River in general. |
