We use Flickr to share photos within the Wild Rivers Community. We think this is a wonderful opportunity for us to see how tour trips look through the eyes of the many different people who join us every year.

If you have photos of a Wild Rivers trip, guide or event, we'd love for you to share them with us! Simply log into Flickr.com and label your images with the tag "WildRiversBluff."

Our Guides

"The guides were tremendous.  Fun, caring, professional and so knowledgeable about all things river -- like old friends from the first interaction.  Please pass on our deepest thanks to them.  We will be back."
-  Sharon, San Francisco CA

Our caring, professional guides are among the best in the industry, and they know the San Juan better than anyone.  Our company carries with it a half-century of institutional knowledge of the river--its side canyons, rock art panels, ruins, geology, campsites, rapids and history. Knowledge is passed down between generations and the deep understanding this affords allows us to present the San Juan in a way that no others can.  Our guides are licensed professionals with training in First Aid and CPR. Many are degreed or working in the fields of geology, archaeology, natural history or environmental policy.  Spirited and accomplished, you will be surprised at their ability while on the river to capably assume the role of chefs, teachers, comedians, medics, big brother or sisters, storytellers, historians and friends. Please take some time to read their bios below.
